Goseong-gun Signs Agreement to Ensure Success of Gyeongnam Goseong Dinosaur World Expo

Volunteer Work Agreement with 19 Social Organizations Including Goseong-gun Volunteer Council

The Gyeongnam Goseong Dinosaur World Expo Organizing Committee signed a volunteer work agreement with 19 social organizations.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] The Gyeongnam Goseong Dinosaur World Expo Organizing Committee signed a volunteer work agreement for the successful hosting of the Expo with 19 social organizations, including the Goseong-gun Volunteer Council.

The signing ceremony held on the 20th at the Goseong-gun conference room was attended by Lee Sang-geun, the governor of Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam, and the heads of 19 social organizations.

During the 30 days of the 2022 Dinosaur Expo, about 700 volunteers from 19 social organizations, including the Goseong-gun Women's Association, will assist visitors by guiding exhibition halls, managing the environment, and handling parking and traffic.

The governor said, “Thank you for actively participating from each organization for the success of the Expo,” and added, “Let us demonstrate the expertise of the volunteer organizations and achieve the successful hosting of the Expo worthy of Goseong’s reputation as the place of dinosaurs.”

Kim Myung-ok, president of the Women's Association, said, “Our volunteer organizations have always been part of the successful history of the Dinosaur Expo since it began in 2006,” and added, “As a prepared volunteer organization, we will do our best for success as the representative face of the Expo.”
