The ‘Virtual Showroom’ that provides brand experiences within the 3D metaverse is gaining attention as a new way for consumers to engage, with various brands opening their own virtual showrooms.
As confirmed cases surge again and scheduled events are shifting back to non-face-to-face formats, the advertising industry has opened the first virtual showroom, enabling consumers to visually preview products and access consultation information without in-person meetings.
Design Hoin has opened a virtual showroom through Olymp Planet’s metaverse platform ‘Elipex,’ allowing customers to view a portfolio of various product lines on the website. This offers an innovative service of metaverse transformation, a new experience where online and offline coexist through a three-dimensional virtual space, much like enjoying a gallery.
Ahn Hojun, Vice President of Olymp Planet, said, "Many companies are currently showing efforts to communicate with consumers through the metaverse. With the opening of Design Hoin’s virtual showroom, if the general public can easily access and understand products through the metaverse, companies and consumers will be able to communicate more actively and create additional value."
Kim Hyunkwang, CEO of Design Hoin, stated, “We are pleased to start communication with consumers through the virtual showroom, which advertising companies have not attempted before, and we will make it easier to access more convenient and diverse areas through future service development.”
