Starting Next Month 1st, SM Story Combined Artist Experience Spaces to Be Unveiled Sequentially
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Pyeonghwa] Everland, operated by Samsung C&T Resort Division, announced on the 21st that it will launch an artist experience space combined with SM Story (SMCU) in collaboration with SM Entertainment starting from the 1st of next month.
Everland and SM signed a related Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) last month. They are promoting the 'EVER SM Town' project, creating new experience content at Everland using the intellectual property (IP) of SM artists such as NCT 127, NCT DREAM, and aespa.
Everland plans to incorporate various digital technologies such as augmented reality (AR), videos, and photo zones into major facilities like Amazon Express, bumper cars, and Music Garden, allowing visitors to enjoy the SM universe vividly while riding attractions or strolling through the gardens. For example, the bumper cars feature the concept of NCT 127's 4th full album "2 Baddies," released on the 16th. Each vehicle is adorned with the names of the members.
Everland will also unveil "Gwangya@Everland," a complex cultural space where visitors can experience SMCU, on the 14th of next month. It plans to showcase not only existing SM artist merchandise but also Everland limited edition collaboration goods.
A representative from Samsung C&T Resort Division said, "Through collaboration with SM, which leads the global K-pop trend, we plan to deliver a new digital experience where reality and virtuality meet to our customers."
