Adult Romance 'Sensual Romance Contest' Held... Total Prize Money 50 Million Won

[Asia Economy Reporter Seomideum] Sensual Moment Co., Ltd., which operates the romance audio drama app ‘PLING,’ will hold the 1st ‘Sensual Romance Contest’ starting from the 26th. Publishing company ‘Sigongsa’ and film production and distribution company ‘Sidus’ are participating as partners.

According to Sensual Moment, the contest is divided into scenario content and voice actor categories. Scenario content (web novel/audio drama scripts) targets adult romance, romance fantasy, and BL (Boys' Love) genres, while the voice actor category is for male voice actors who will play the role of ‘Gray’ in ‘Fifty Shades of Gray.’ The prize money for the grand prize is 15 million KRW for web novels, 3 million KRW for audio, and 3 million KRW for voice actors, respectively.

A representative from Sensual Moment stated, “Among the main readers of the romance genre, mainly those in their 20s and 30s, the demand for mature and honest adult romance has increased. We hope that through the Sensual Romance Contest, creators will freely express their creativity and that a major adult romance masterpiece will be born in Korea, continuing the legacy of ‘Fifty Shades of Gray’ through various forms of IP expansion from novels to audio, and from audio to video.”

The deadline for the content category is the 28th of next month, and for the voice actor category, it is the 5th of next month. The announcement of winners will be on November 30th, and the voice actor casting announcement will be on the 26th of next month.
