[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] The Sangbuk-myeon Community Security Council in Ulju-gun, Ulsan conducted a welfare blind spot discovery campaign and environmental cleanup activities around Sanjeon-ri, Sangbuk-myeon on the 20th.

On this day, council members collected abandoned garbage illegally dumped mainly in vulnerable waste areas and removed illegal advertisements to create a clean environment.

To prevent neighbors facing difficulties due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and rising prices from falling into serious crises, they promoted various support projects for at-risk households, provided guidance on how to request help, and carried out a welfare blind spot discovery campaign.

Chairman Jeong Sanghwa said, “I hope this campaign will encourage residents to empathize with the greater difficulties of their neighbors and participate in discovering at-risk households,” adding, “We will continue environmental cleanup activities to spread a culture of not littering.”

Yoon Sunok, head of Sangbuk-myeon, expressed gratitude to the community security council members for participating in the campaign despite their busy schedules, saying, “We will strive to raise local residents’ awareness and proactively respond to at-risk households through various forms of welfare blind spot discovery projects.”
