Amid recent interest rate hikes increasing financial burdens on consumers, residential officetels offering interest-free interim payments are gaining renewed attention. In the current environment of sharply rising loan interest rates, these properties allow buyers to secure their homes more stably without additional financial strain. In fact, in July this year, the Bank of Korea's Monetary Policy Committee implemented a historic 'big step' by raising the base interest rate by 0.5 percentage points at once. An industry insider said, “With the increased loan burden due to interest rate hikes, places offering financial benefits are gaining popularity. Among them, locations with excellent accessibility, products, and brands are attracting a lot of attention through word of mouth.”
Meanwhile, Hyundai Engineering & Construction is offering ‘Hillstate Yuseong’ in Bongmyeong-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon. The complex will be developed with 4 buildings ranging from 3 basement floors to 26 above-ground floors, totaling 473 units with a net floor area of 84㎡.
‘Hillstate Yuseong’ has lowered buyers’ burdens by applying interest rate benefits. To ease the burden caused by interest rate hikes, the complex offers a 50% interest-free interim payment benefit. Additionally, a fixed first contract deposit of 5 million KRW and interest-free loan support for 5% of the contract deposit significantly reduce the contract deposit burden for buyers.
