[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] On the 18th, Ahn Cheol-soo, a member of the People Power Party, held a press conference marking the 10th anniversary of his political debut and emphasized, "As the unified presidential candidate and the head of the transition committee, I, Ahn Cheol-soo, am the 'joint guarantor' of the Yoon Seok-yeol administration," adding, "We do not have the freedom to fail."

On that day, Ahn stated, "I have the responsibility and duty to transform the People Power Party into a reformist centrist-conservative party, lead a landslide victory in the general election, reform the Republic of Korea, and recreate the government."

He added, "To achieve that, I am pledging my entire being as a commitment to the people."

Ahn said, "I have completed several full marathon courses," and added, "Those who finish marathons do not easily give up on anything. Let me make it clear again: Ahn Cheol-soo will not give up and will win."

He continued, "I will no longer ask for political change," expressing, "Now, I will lead political change."
