2022 Eulji Exercise Review Meeting Held

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Park Wan-su, Governor of Gyeongnam Province, presided over the 2022 Eulji Exercise comprehensive debriefing meeting on the 16th at the provincial government conference room.


The debriefing meeting was attended by Governor Park, Kwon Dae-won, Commander of the 39th Infantry Division, deputy heads of cities and counties, heads of all offices and bureaus, and heads of related organizations.


At the meeting, follow-up measures by each institution were confirmed and inspected to conclude this year's Eulji Exercise and to systematically promote next year's Eulji Exercise.


The exercise result reports were presented in order by Gyeongnam Province, the 39th Infantry Division, Gyeongnam Police Agency, Miryang City, and Hamyang County.


2022 Gyeongnam Province Eulji Exercise Review ... Governor Park Wansu Awards Commendations to 6 Outstanding Cities and Counties Including Tongyeong and Goseong Six local governments, including Tongyeong and Goseong in Gyeongnam, were selected as excellent cities and counties in the 2022 Gyeongsangnam-do Eulji Exercise evaluation.

In this year's Eulji Exercise evaluation, Tongyeong City and Goseong County were selected as the best, Miryang City and Geochang County as excellent, and Geoje City and Hamyang County as commendable, with Governor Park awarding certificates of commendation and prize money.


Governor Park said, "Reflecting the changed security environment, continuous training like actual combat is necessary to enhance national crisis management and wartime preparedness capabilities," adding, "Please prepare to ensure rapid initial response in emergencies by supplementing and improving the shortcomings found in the exercises to firmly protect the lives and safety of the residents."
