[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwanju] Lululab, an AI beauty and healthcare company based on skin data, announced on the 16th that it has launched the mobile AI skin analysis solution 'LuminiSDK (LUMINI Software Development Kit)'.
LuminiSDK is Lululab's first mobile solution. Previously, skin analysis was only possible in spaces where hardware-based products were installed, but with the launch of LuminiSDK, the portfolio has been expanded to include software.
LuminiSDK achieves high reproducibility and accuracy based on Lululab's global-level AI technology and high-resolution skin data amounting to one million cases in the rapidly expanding beauty AI market.
In the case of mobile, securing reproducibility is much more difficult due to hand tremors, different camera specs depending on the model, and external lighting. Lululab succeeded in developing various deep learning algorithms that can cover the limitations of mobile measurement. Through this, it scans a person's face within 10 seconds and analyzes six items: troubles, dark circles, pores, wrinkles, redness, and pigmentation.
Also, through the existing hardware-based Lumini products for enterprises, which have expanded to more than 20 countries overseas, Lululab has secured skin data reflecting racial and national characteristics, thus possessing technology that can accurately analyze the faces of people both domestically and internationally.
LuminiSDK can recommend products or services in the desired form that client companies want to provide to end consumers, such as customized cosmetics, care programs, and health functional foods, according to the analyzed skin type, enabling beauty and retail companies to receive optimal solutions.
Choi Yongjun, CEO of Lululab, said, “LuminiSDK is meaningful not only for analyzing skin but also for its scalability and ease of use.” He added, “Beauty and retail companies worldwide can easily adopt Lululab's AI skin analysis and recommendation engine through LuminiSDK and provide advanced personalized services through AI technology.”
