[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) has embarked on a 'Communication Outing with Parents and Schools' to listen to the voices from the school field.
The 'Communication Outing' was organized to communicate with parents and schools on the front lines in order to provide students with a safe and comfortable educational environment. It reflects Mayor Kim Kyung-ho's commitment to creating a premium educational city, a key pledge of the 8th local government administration, through citizen-centered communication administration.
The 'Communication Outing,' held under the theme 'Our School Now!,' began on the 15th at Jungma Elementary School.
Mayor Kim Kyung-ho personally visited the educational site, carefully inspecting classrooms, restrooms, and school routes, and met freely with parents, school operation committee members, and the principal to exchange opinions and promised support for educational expenses and facility investments.
A parent who participated in the Communication Outing said, "I feel relieved to be able to openly share problems I had been worrying about alone," and expressed gratitude for the concern shown for the safety and education of their children.
The Communication Outing will be held at a total of 20 elementary, middle, and high schools until October 25, and the complaints heard will be actively reflected after thorough review in the future.
Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, "We will listen carefully to the valuable opinions from the educational field so that children can study happily in a better environment," and added, "Through closer communication with students, parents, and schools, we will lead the development of education in Gwangjin."
