[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Choi] SK Inc. C&C announced on the 14th that it has launched ‘aTworks,’ a large-scale application programming interface (API) test automation solution.
An API is a service contract that allows specific software functions or data to be accessed and used by other software. For example, loading a financial institution’s deposit data into a mobile banking app is done through an API. When the mobile banking app requests financial data via the API, the financial institution’s deposit system responds, displaying the latest deposit information.
aTworks performs API testing across all types. It supports automated test scheduling during nighttime and early morning hours, multi-API testing using two servers, various scenario tests tailored to field operations, and real-time modification and editing of test data?all at once.
The testing process and API call history are recorded on the user program screen for reuse in other tests. The API test capacity can reach up to 10,000 cases in 30 minutes.
aTworks can be utilized in large-scale digital system transition projects following infrastructure service End of Service (EOS), next-generation system construction projects, development, verification, and comparative testing by server, as well as mass testing. It is also helpful in IT system operation projects that repeatedly perform application testing and deployment, such as daily inspection automation and regression testing due to program changes.
Nam-sik Kim, Head of the Financial Digital Group 2 at SK Inc. C&C, said, “Using aTworks can significantly reduce the resource burden related to manpower, time, and cost involved in the API testing process. We will expand the API automation solution business, focusing on the financial and fintech industries where API usage is rapidly increasing.”
