[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Myunghwan] On the 9th, a day before Chuseok, a man in his 20s who was replacing an air conditioner outdoor unit in Jeju fell from an aerial work platform and died.
According to the Jeju Fire Safety Headquarters and Jeju Dongbu Police Station on the 10th, a report was received that Mr. A (28), who was replacing an air conditioner outdoor unit on the rooftop of a building near the Idogwangjang Intersection in Ido 2-dong, Jeju City, fell at around 2:54 p.m. the previous day.
Mr. A was given emergency treatment and transported to the hospital but ultimately passed away. According to police investigation, Mr. A fell while working on an aerial work platform approximately 17 meters high.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
