Simmons Donates Household Goods Worth 40 Million KRW to Icheon City

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Simmons announced on the 8th that it donated household goods worth 40 million KRW to the Icheon community in celebration of Chuseok.

Simmons Bed held a donation ceremony on the 7th at Icheon City Hall attended by Kim Young-hoon, Vice President of Simmons Bed, and Kim Kyung-hee, Mayor of Icheon. The donated items will be delivered to vulnerable groups in Icheon City who are experiencing economic and psychological difficulties.

Since September 2018, Simmons has donated various practical items such as TVs, refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, and microwaves to the Icheon community every holiday. Including this Chuseok, Simmons has supported Icheon City with household goods worth approximately 400 million KRW through a total of nine donations.

Kim Young-hoon, Vice President of Simmons Bed, said, "As we face Chuseok amid the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and economic recession, which have made things difficult for everyone, we decided on this donation to help the residents of Icheon have a bountiful Hangawi, even if just a little."
