Hwasun-gun Holds Various Events to Commemorate 'Suicide Prevention Day'

[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ji-woon] Jeonnam Hwasun-gun announced on the 7th that the Hwasun-gun Mental Health Welfare Center, which is operated on consignment, will hold various events to promote suicide prevention and the culture of respecting life in celebration of Suicide Prevention Week (September 1st to 10th).

The Hwasun-gun Mental Health Welfare Center (Director Kim Kyung-hwan) is conducting a campaign event called "Take a 인증샷 with the Suicide Prevention Day Commemorative Banner," which any Hwasun-gun resident can participate in, until the 18th.

Those who wish to participate in the event can take a 인증샷 with the Suicide Prevention Day commemorative banner and upload the photo to the 'Hwasun-gun Mental Health Welfare Center KakaoTalk Channel' 1:1 chat window.

The banner locations are 안내돼 on the Hwasun-gun Mental Health Welfare Center KakaoTalk channel or website, and a small prize will be given to the first 100 participants.

A Life Love Quiz event will be held until the 9th for life keepers who have received life keeper training at the Hwasun-gun Mental Health Welfare Center.

Throughout this month, market campaigns approaching local residents, school front morning campaigns, and visiting life keeper education will also be steadily conducted.

Kim Kyung-hwan, director of the Hwasun-gun Mental Health Welfare Center, said, "Improving social awareness is very important for suicide prevention in the local community," and added, "I hope this event will be an opportunity for local residents to understand the preciousness of life and access correct information."

Meanwhile, the Hwasun-gun Mental Health Welfare Center is located on the 2nd floor of the Dementia Safety Center and is free for all local residents to use.
