[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is implementing a 'Chuseok Holiday Comprehensive Plan' to ensure a comfortable and safe holiday for residents during the Chuseok period.
First, from the 9th to the 12th, the county will operate a comprehensive situation room composed of 11 teams, including a general response team, disaster and emergency response team, and medical response team, to monitor local conditions and respond continuously to emergencies such as typhoons and fires during the holiday period.
This comprehensive plan consists of 28 measures across 4 areas to respond to the unstable livelihood economy situation caused by the resurgence of COVID-19, disasters such as typhoons and heatwaves, rising prices, and interest rate hikes.
The four areas are ▲ a safe holiday through COVID-19 prevention ▲ a prosperous holiday through stabilization of the livelihood economy and revitalization of the local economy ▲ a holiday where no neighbors are left out and everyone participates ▲ a holiday where everyone feels secure from disasters.
County Governor Lee Sang-geun said, “This Chuseok comes amid an unstable atmosphere due to the resurgence of COVID-19 and rising prices, but based on cooperation between the administration and the private sector, we will actively respond to various incidents and accidents that may occur during the holiday period and focus administrative capabilities to ensure that residents can spend a comfortable and safe holiday.”
