[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] TC Company announced on the 5th that it has officially launched the subscription service for elementary and secondary school curriculum-linked content, ‘Edulib (EDULIB)’.
Edulib is a microlearning content service that curates only the core by composing more than 30 types of metadata based on the domestic curriculum by content curation experts, and holds more than 30,000 EBS content items. It provides services segmented into short-form content of about 5 minutes without concerns about copyright, advertisements, or harmful content.
Until now, in educational settings, teachers have faced difficulties preparing lessons due to the absence of curriculum-linked content for each lesson and the presence of advertisements and inappropriate educational content on platforms like YouTube.
TC Company explained that using Edulib can resolve these difficulties in educational settings. A company representative said, "Teachers can show students content curated according to 'grade, semester, subject, unit, and lesson,' which stimulates interest and simultaneously improves academic achievement, allowing for well-structured lessons." He added, "Through user and curriculum-based recommendation services, it saves time finding necessary content, enabling efficient lesson preparation."
Additionally, since content can be shared externally, it can be shared with students who need after-school educational videos and can be used diversely for extracurricular learning beyond curriculum studies, occasion-based education, and more.
Choi Dae-myung, CEO of TC Company, said, "We will provide AI-based customized services and research and develop content on various topics to make Edulib helpful in domestic educational settings." He added, "We will expand the target to high schools and general education to provide high-quality content and open the largest knowledge information-type learning content service in Korea."
