Park Wansu, Governor of Gyeongnam Province, "Inspect All Equipment to Be Mobilized at Typhoon Damage Sites in Advance"

Gyeongnam Governor Park Wan-su is instructing the inspection of equipment to be deployed at the site affected by Typhoon Hinnamnor, the 11th typhoon.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Park Wan-su, Governor of Gyeongnam Province, instructed an inspection of equipment to be deployed at sites damaged by the typhoon on the afternoon of the 4th.

On the same day, Governor Park attended a video conference chaired by the President to check the preparedness for Typhoon Hinnamnor.

President Yoon Seok-yeol urged, "Please ensure thorough preparation before and after the event," and added, "I hope related agencies such as the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters, local governments, fire departments, police, and coast guard will strengthen their cooperation system and respond accordingly."

After the meeting, Governor Park ordered, "Although we are making full preparations to minimize typhoon damage, also inspect in advance the equipment that can be mobilized for swift on-site action and recovery in case of landslides or other incidents."

He continued, "Above all, it is important to prevent any casualties, so maintain an emergency readiness posture until the typhoon has completely passed."
