Namwon-si 4-H Headquarters Presents Scholarship Certificates and Scholarships to Outstanding Students


[Namwon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Young-kwon] The Jeonbuk Namwon City 4-H Headquarters announced on the 31st that it awarded scholarship certificates and scholarships of 200,000 won each to a total of six students: three students from Yongbuk Middle School and three students from Yongseong Middle School, who excelled in school 4-H club activities and served as role models in project activities.


This commendation was given to students who have been diligent in their studies and actively participated in school 4-H club activities based on the ideology of knowledge, virtue, labor, and physical fitness. The scholarships were provided by the Namwon City 4-H Headquarters from funds established to nurture capable members.


Kang Seong-won, president of the Namwon City 4-H Headquarters, has been raising the morale of school 4-H clubs by presenting certificates of commendation and scholarships to middle and high schools in the area. Through support for various project activities such as field experience and cultural experiences, students are nurturing their dreams and playing a significant role as local leaders in regional development.


Ko In-bae, director of the Namwon City Agricultural Technology Center, said, “It was heartwarming to feel the warmth as the school 4-H headquarters voluntarily delivered scholarships to students,” and added, “I hope this will be a small opportunity for youth to grow as leaders in the local community.”
