Kia, Open Recruitment for New College Graduates in the Second Half of the Year

Recruitment for a Total of 14 Subdivisions

Kia, Open Recruitment for New College Graduates in the Second Half of the Year

[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Kia announced on the 31st that it will recruit new university graduate employees for the second half of the year through its recruitment website from the 1st to the 18th of next month.

This new graduate recruitment will be conducted in a total of 14 divisions: ▲Production ▲Purchasing ▲Quality ▲Manufacturing Solutions ▲Management Support ▲Customer Experience ▲Customer Safety ▲Domestic Business ▲Overseas Business ▲New Business/Planning ▲Strategy/Product ▲Tech ▲Special Business ▲Finance.

Eligible candidates are those expected to graduate from a four-year regular university by February next year or those holding a bachelor's or master's degree. The final acceptance announcement will be made in December, and the employment is scheduled for early next year.

Starting with this new graduate recruitment, Kia unified the recruitment start time for the second half of the year to September, conducting batch recruitment by division, while maintaining the monthly continuous recruitment method previously operated in the first half of the year, introducing a hybrid method.

The existing continuous recruitment method has the advantage of selecting personnel suitable for the job in a timely manner, but had drawbacks such as the employment timing not matching the graduation timing or applicants having difficulty applying due to job segmentation. This second half new graduate recruitment has fixed application and employment timings, allowing applicants to predict the recruitment timing, which is expected to make preparation easier.

Additionally, Kia expanded the scope of job postings by division to help applicants better understand the recruitment positions.

Furthermore, Kia is communicating through various online and offline recruitment events considering the applicants' perspective to empathize with the difficulties in their job preparation process and provide practical help.

On the 25th, Kia held the ‘Kia Inspiring Coffee Chat’ event at ‘EV6 Unplugged Ground Seongsu,’ inviting about 40 Kia job seekers. The ‘Kia Inspiring Coffee Chat’ program included viewing the EV6 and Kia brand exhibition, career-related lectures by invited speakers, and communication with Kia HR personnel.

Also, since the 30th, Kia has been conducting an online recruitment briefing session called ‘Occasional Job Seeker’ in the Kia metaverse space ‘Kia Autoworld.’

A Kia official said, “This second half new graduate recruitment by division was designed to provide opportunities considering the applicant's perspective and to offer a satisfying experience during the recruitment process,” adding, “We hope for the interest and applications of many talented candidates.”
