[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam, will provide tangible employment opportunities to local residents struggling with livelihoods due to COVID-19 and enable companies to hire necessary talent by holding the ‘2022 Hamyang-gun Job Fair’ for three days from September 5 to 7 during the 17th Hamyang Sansam Festival.

The job fair event will be held near the main stage venue from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with about 20 local companies, including Korea Fiber, participating indirectly.

Job seekers wishing to participate can visit the venue on the day of the event or inquire in advance at the Hamyang-gun Office Job Center, which organizes the event.

As a side event, fingerprint aptitude tests will be conducted to provide suitable employment directions for job seekers and those preparing for employment, and opportunities for taking ID photos for resumes on-site will be offered to assist with job preparation.

Additionally, a booth will be set up where participants can understand tarot cards and check their employment fortune, providing various engaging benefits to job seekers attending the event.

Cha Eun-tak, Director of the Job Economy Division, said, “I hope this event will provide a small but good opportunity for job seekers and recruiting companies amid the employment market depressed by COVID-19,” adding, “To revive the sluggish employment market, we plan to continuously promote job projects in 2023, such as support projects for recruitment incentives to encourage corporate hiring and support for job seekers to obtain certifications, and we ask for the active interest and participation of local job seekers.”
