The Value of Renewed Cantavil... 'Cantavil The First' Begins First Priority Subscription Today

Daewon Co., Ltd. opened a model house on the 19th and officially launched sales of ‘Cantavil The First,’ featuring the newly renewed ‘Cantavil’ brand, attracting attention. Notably, this renewed brand introduced a symbol composed of three lines (Balance Line) representing life balance, which won the grand prize in the ‘Brands & Communication Design’ category at the 2022 Red Dot Design Award, sparking much curiosity even before the sales began.

The Red Dot Design Award is an international design competition that started in Germany in 1955 and is considered one of the world’s top three design awards alongside the USA’s ‘IDEA (International Design Excellence Awards)’ and Germany’s ‘iF Design Award (International Forum Design Award).’

The winning design at the ceremony is a renewal of Daewon’s flagship housing brand ‘Cantavil’ BI, adopting the new concept of ‘Life Balance.’ It visualizes the characteristic of ‘harmonious balance between the spatial and active areas of an apartment’ as Cantavil’s new symbol. The transformation of the previously used flower petals into three parallel lines effectively expresses a horizontal life, which also draws attention.

As the Cantavil BI, awarded at this global design award, will be actively applied from the entrance gate of ‘Cantavil The First’ to the walls of the community center and apartment goods, it is expected to help establish a differentiated premium brand image within the Segyo 2 District.

A sales official of Cantavil The First stated, “It is analyzed that strengthening and reflecting the design elements to fully convey Cantavil’s brand identity was a key factor in winning this award,” adding, “We will apply designs embodying the capabilities and values of the Cantavil brand to Cantavil The First to present it as a landmark complex in the Segyo 2 District.”

Moreover, Cantavil The First is highly valued for its future potential due to significant transportation developments. The extension of the GTX-C line to Osan Station is one such development. If the GTX-C line, which runs from Yangju Deokjeong through Seoul Samsung to Suwon, is extended, it will take only six stations (planned) from Osan Station to Samsung Station, greatly improving access to Seoul Gangnam.

Additionally, projects such as the Geumo Tunnel connecting Osan downtown and Segyo District, tram construction between Osan and Dongtan, and the extension of the Bundang Line connecting Osan, Dongtan, and Giheung are underway, further enhancing the transportation environment.

Meanwhile, ‘Cantavil The First,’ being built on Block A10 in Segyo 2 District, Osan City, Gyeonggi Province, will consist of seven buildings with two basement floors and 20 above-ground floors, offering 514 units of 84㎡ exclusive area. Special supply was conducted on the 29th (Monday), with general subscription applications accepted in the first priority on the 30th (Tuesday) and second priority on the 31st (Wednesday). The announcement of successful applicants will be on September 6th (Tuesday), and the official contract period will be from September 19th (Monday) to 21st (Wednesday) for three days.

The model house plans to maintain a safe viewing environment by strictly adhering to quarantine rules such as regular disinfection and social distancing. The website also provides various information for those who find it difficult to visit, including floor plans, interior designs, unit VR, and household guide videos.
