InterContinental Holds Hotel Groundbreaking Ceremony in Pyeongtaek

IHG Hotels & Resorts held the groundbreaking ceremony for Gyeonggi-do Pyeongtaek's first global luxury hotel, the InterContinental Pyeongtaek, on the 26th. [Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] IHG Hotels & Resorts announced on the 29th that it held the groundbreaking ceremony for 'InterContinental Pyeongtaek,' the first global luxury hotel in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province.

The groundbreaking ceremony for InterContinental Pyeongtaek, held on the 26th, was attended by Serena Lim, Vice President of Development for Southeast Asia and Korea at IHG Hotels & Resorts, Vivek Bala, Vice President of Operations for Southeast Asia and Korea, as well as representatives from Seraphim Development and Pyeongtaek City.

Scheduled to open in 2025, InterContinental Pyeongtaek will be the first global luxury hotel in Gyeonggi Province with a total of 244 rooms, reflecting the InterContinental brand's ambitions for business expansion and long-term vision.
