Probiotic brand 'Lactofit' of Chong Kun Dang Health, a health functional food specialist company (CEO Kim Ho-gon), was selected as an excellent design at the '2022 Good Design Award (GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2022)'.
The Good Design Award is the most prestigious and credible design award ceremony in Korea, hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion (KIDP). It has been held since 1985 in accordance with the Industrial Design Promotion Act.
A panel of design experts comprehensively evaluates aesthetics, originality, usability, economy, innovation, and environmental friendliness to select outstanding products and services, awarding the government certification mark 'Good Design (GD)'.
At the 2022 award, the upgraded package of Lactofit, selected as an excellent design, enhanced readability by adding a supplementary Korean BI for those unfamiliar with English, considering the wide age range of Lactofit purchasers and actual users. In addition, a font that is familiar and easy to use for everyone was chosen to emphasize a friendly and familiar image.
A representative of Chong Kun Dang Health said, "This award once again recognizes our customer-centered, friendly, and innovative design," and added, "We will continue to enhance customer satisfaction with high-quality products that prioritize consumers."
Lactofit is Chong Kun Dang Health's probiotic brand that has ranked first in brand awareness, preference, and purchase rate since its launch in 2016. Starting with Lactofit Gold, the entire Lactofit lineup is being upgraded, strengthening quality with ingredient upgrades such as doubling the guaranteed number of bacteria and adding zinc, which is involved in immune function, along with package design renewal.
