[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] Alcohol importer YJ Korea announced on the 29th that it will launch the bourbon whiskey 'Kentucky Walker' and 'PAU Maui Vodka' in Korea for the first time.
Kentucky Walker is a bourbon whiskey made using the early traditional method of crushing corn, blending raw spirits aged for at least 4 years. It is characterized by a complex and distinct character and was created to honor the heroes who made today's bourbon whiskey. It is made with a high corn ratio following the long-standing mash bill (blend ratio recipe) tradition of Kentucky, USA. You can enjoy the flavors of caramel, vanilla essence, and maple syrup naturally occurring from newly smoked white oak barrels. It also features a balanced harmony with bright aroma and vanilla scent.
PAU Maui Vodka, originating from Hawaii, is a premium vodka made in Hawaii's clean environment, distilled using only Hawaii's pure water sources including gold pineapples with high sugar content and low acidity that take more than 18 months to harvest. Only natural ingredients excluding artificial seasonings are carefully selected, and it is produced as a single type of distilled water filtered through charcoal in a specially made 4.5m tall distillation tower.
A YJ Korea official said, "As bourbon whiskey enthusiasts have recently increased explosively, we decided to launch Kentucky Walker in Korea for the first time," adding, "Following bourbon whiskey, we plan to release various products including Taisteil single malt Scotch whiskey originating from Scotland."
