Beneplus Sales Increased by 233% Last Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Shinsegae Live Shopping announced on the 24th that its lifestyle and living private brand (PB), Beneplus, is gaining great popularity among consumers.
According to Shinsegae Live Shopping, Beneplus's sales last month increased by 233% compared to the same period last year. Beneplus is the first PB in the T-commerce industry, consisting only of products with excellent quality at reasonable prices. Initially, general household items such as moisture absorbers, bleach, and toothbrushes led sales, but recently, upgraded products like LED camping lanterns, open folding boxes, and wireless vacuum sealers have been selling well.
Since the beginning of this year, Shinsegae Live Shopping has established a dedicated strategic product team to manage Beneplus. Currently, five team members are presenting about 60 products to customers. Additionally, because Beneplus purchases all products directly from small and medium-sized enterprises, it provides a foundation for excellent domestic companies facing difficulties in distribution channels to grow.
A Shinsegae Live Shopping official said, “We are developing various products to provide excellent items to customers,” adding, “We plan to secure superior products worthy of the Shinsegae name and offer them at reasonable prices, not just products that are simply cheap.”
