Application Open Until the 24th for 'Hoban Verdiium Stay One,' Transit-Oriented Youth Housing for Newlyweds and Youth with Low Bonus Points

As the government's real estate regulations coincide with the Bank of Korea's base interest rate hikes, newlyweds and young people are increasingly concerned about buying their own homes. In this context, youth housing near subway stations, which offers stable long-term residence at reasonable costs, is attracting attention.

According to data from the Korea Real Estate Board's subscription website, the scoring (maximum 84 points) for complexes that held subscriptions this year (January to July) was △highest 79 points △lowest 63 points △average 67 points. As a result, it is realistically difficult for the relatively low-scoring 20s and 30s age group to purchase their own homes.

Moreover, housing prices have risen significantly, further increasing housing instability. According to Real Estate 114 data, over the past two years (August 2020 to July 2022), the nationwide apartment sale price per 3.3㎡ increased by 29% (17.34 million KRW → 22.38 million KRW), and the average monthly rent rose by 26% (9.92 million KRW → 12.47 million KRW). Monthly rent has also increased. According to data from the Korea Real Estate Board, monthly rent has risen by a total of 15% since the implementation of the Lease Protection Act in July 2020 (647,000 KRW), increasing the burden of housing costs.

Consequently, youth housing near subway stations targeting newlyweds and young people is drawing significant interest from the 20s and 30s age group. In fact, according to SH Corporation, the first subscription for youth housing near subway stations this year recorded a ratio of 91.6 to 1.

An expert stated, "Young generations struggling to buy their own homes are turning their attention to youth housing near subway stations," adding, "Youth housing near subway stations boasts excellent locations and is constructed by private developers, making the product highly competitive and resulting in high residential satisfaction."

Meanwhile, the 'Hoban Verdiium Stay One' youth housing near Bulgwang Station is accepting subscription applications until the 24th, attracting much interest from newlyweds and prospective newlyweds as well as young people.
