On the 22nd, eight private daycare centers from the Gijang-gun Daycare Center Association held the 4th relay donation event at the Jeonggwan-eup Administrative Welfare Center.
At the delivery ceremony, Kim Jong-cheon, head of Jeonggwan-eup, and daycare centers including Dongil 3rd Branch (Director No Myung-ok), Dongil Angel (Director Park Hye-ryeong), Bomtteul (Director Choi Jeong-hyun), Solmaru Haetsal (Director Kim Hye-won), Aisessang (Director Lee Seong-hae), Easy Nuri (Director Lee Shin-ok), Easy Ai Sup (Director Cha Yeon-gyu), and Jeil Sarang (Director Jeon Mi-kyung) attended.
These relay “runners” collected 105 boxes of daily necessities donated by daycare children, parents, and childcare staff and entrusted them to the Jeonggwan-eup Administrative Welfare Center.
The donated items are scheduled to be delivered to households identified as welfare crisis cases during the summer and to households with disabled members.
Kim Jong-cheon, head of Jeonggwan-eup, said, “I am grateful to the members of the Gijang-gun Daycare Center Association who have consistently taken the lead in sharing activities despite the heatwave and monsoon,” adding, “We will ensure that the donations are properly delivered to low-income residents and disabled households to lead the creation of a Jeonggwan without welfare blind spots.”
