Up to 200,000 KRW for 12 Months... Application Open Until August Next Year, Temporary Monthly Rent Support Program 추진
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 22nd that it will accept applications for the Youth Monthly Rent Temporary Special Support Project to reduce the housing cost burden for young people.
The support target is young people aged 19 to 34 who live separately from their parents and are homeless residents living in housing with a lease deposit of 50 million KRW or less and monthly rent of 600,000 KRW or less. Monthly rent support of up to 200,000 KRW per month will be provided for one year.
The income requirement is that the young person's household income must be 60% or less of the median income (1.16 million KRW for a single-person household), and the total property value must be 107 million KRW or less. Applications can be made if the total household income including parents is 100% or less of the median income (4.19 million KRW for a three-person household) and the total property value is 380 million KRW or less.
The application period is from August 22 to August next year, and applications can be submitted online through the ‘Bokjiro’ website or by visiting the County Office Administrative Education Division and submitting an application form.
County Governor Lee Seung-hwa said, “As this is a policy to reduce the housing cost burden for young people, we hope many local young people will apply,” and added, “We will continue to develop various policies to help stabilize housing for young households and support local settlement.”
