Miele Launches 'Hood-Integrated Induction'... Cooking Zone Area Expanded by 7cm Miele Induction 'KMDA 7476 FL'. (Photo by Miele)

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] Miele Korea, the Korean branch of the German premium home appliance brand Miele, announced on the 22nd that it will launch the hood-integrated induction cooker 'KMDA 7476 FL.'

The new product is designed to freely accommodate large-capacity cookware with a wider burner area. The two PowerFlex XL zones on either side of the built-in hood in the center are 7 cm wider than previous Miele products. This allows the use of cookware of various sizes and shapes.

The PowerFlex XL zones automatically detect the cooking area according to the size of the cookware. When pots or frying pans are placed comfortably, it recognizes them automatically and assists in cooking. It is not limited by size. For example, instead of placing two pots, you can place one long and large pan, making it convenient when using large-capacity cookware.

When you need to cook quickly with strong heat, the TwinBooster function can increase the power up to 7.3 kW. This function combines the output of two burners into one spot.

It is explained that the Comfort Select Flex, which adjusts the heat intensity and maintains warmth with a single press, features an intuitive design.

Functions such as Stop&Go, which quickly lowers the burner intensity to level 1 for temporarily leaving the cooking area, Wipe Protection that locks the sensor buttons to prevent changes in settings while wiping the display, and a timer that can be set for up to about 10 hours regardless of burner operation, can also be easily configured.

Since the hood is built-in, it sucks smoke under the cooktop simultaneously while cooking. A high-efficiency eco motor is also applied. Inside the hood, an activated charcoal filter and a 10-layer stainless steel hood filter are installed to purify and filter oil stains, steam, odors, and smoke, and recirculate the filtered air.

A Miele Korea official said, "The KMDA 7476 FL features a sleek design that matches kitchen interiors and expands cooking space to provide a relaxed kitchen experience. We hope customers experience Miele’s differentiated premium technology and value with this new product that combines user convenience, safety, and powerful heat."

Miele Korea plans to showcase the 'KMDA 7476 FL' through live commerce on its official mall on the 30th.
