[Asia Economy Reporter Kwak Min-jae] The SME Love Sharing Foundation's SME United Volunteer Group announced on the 22nd that on the 20th, they carried out a Chuseok happiness-sharing volunteer activity for vulnerable groups in the community at the Seoul YWCA Bongcheon Comprehensive Social Welfare Center located in Gwanak-gu, Seoul.
As part of the happiness-sharing volunteer activity, the foundation donated 3 million KRW to the Seoul YWCA Bongcheon Comprehensive Social Welfare Center. Twenty-five members of the SME United Volunteer Group practiced happiness-sharing by delivering holiday food and handwritten thank-you letters to vulnerable households in Gwanak-gu.
Chairman Son In-guk said, "Chuseok is a joyful holiday spent with the whole family, but there are neighbors who need social care," adding, "I hope the happiness-sharing kits will comfort the sense of alienation among neighbors and help them have a healthy and happy Chuseok holiday."
