[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education will hold the "Elementary School Gifted Education Candidates Imagination Realization (I&D, Imagination Design) Camp" for three days starting from the 22nd using an online platform.
The event is held for 120 fifth-grade elementary school gifted education candidates and is themed "Social Board Game Production Contest" to develop procedural thinking skills, cooperation, and leadership.
The camp will be operated with 10 teams in 3 groups to prevent COVID-19 and will be conducted in a way that students communicate with each other using an online platform.
Participating students explore and discuss local community issues through the design thinking process. Afterwards, they create solutions in the form of board games and present them by team.
Based on the presentation results, 2 excellent teams and 2 encouragement teams will be selected in each group and given prizes.
