[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] A case similar to an episode of the popular drama "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" occurred in real life.
Religious figures in their 50s who lured elementary school students to a religious facility have been handed over to the prosecution on charges of enticing minors.
According to the Bukbu Police Station in Busan on the 18th, at around 12:50 PM on June 18, three people in their 50s, including a woman identified as A, took three elementary school students to a nearby religious facility, promising to buy them something delicious, in a park in Gupo-dong, Buk-gu.
A and the others transported the children about 2 km by vehicle, where the children ate snacks and played with friends during a proselytizing event.
Later, police, responding to a report from another elementary school student who did not follow A and her group, took the children out of the religious facility.
The police viewed that A and others deliberately removed the children from their guardians' supervision and sent them to the prosecution without detention on the 12th on charges of enticing minors.
A police official stated, "Requesting accompaniment with sweet words is a form of temptation that can cause children to misjudge," adding, "Although they promised to take the children back, since it was the first time for all the children to visit the place, it would have been difficult for them to return on their own."
Because the children, unfamiliar with the geography, were in a situation where returning home was difficult, it was considered that A and others exercised physical control over them.

In episode 9 of the drama "Extraordinary Attorney Woo," the character Bang Gu-ppong, played by actor Koo Kyo-hwan, takes children who were exhausted from academy studies to a mountain to free them.
Although A's purpose was proselytizing, the fact that she lured the children with sweet words was similar to the drama.
A police official explained, "Like Bang Gu-ppong, A did not harm the children, but the very act of taking the children is a criminal offense."
