[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Robo-advisor specialist Fount announced on the 18th that it has completely revamped its app to improve the user experience (UX) for customers and enhanced personalized services based on investment tendencies.
The biggest change in the renewed Fount 4.0 is the provision of personalized services based on customers' investment tendencies and behavioral data within the Fount app.
The investment tendency analysis subdivides factors such as customers' sensitivity to investment losses and expected returns. It focuses on analyzing important customer behaviors in robo-advisor investments, such as additional investments and rebalancing, to help maintain proper investment practices.
Reflecting feedback that accessibility was limited because the service was only available through app installation, service provision has also started on mobile web (WEB). For customers investing with Fount, the ‘My Assets’ section has been significantly improved to allow easy recognition of rebalancing, additional investments, and portfolio changes according to the customer's status, instead of the previously simple return-centered screen.
Along with the app revamp, Fount also launched the ‘Fount Magazine.’ This content service, provided by Fount’s team of investment experts, aims to help customers understand and forecast the markets they are investing in through weekly market reviews, investment strategies, and issue analyses. Monthly investment reports explain and forecast which market issues have influenced asset changes, enabling customers to grasp investment trends.
Kim Young-bin, CEO of Fount, said, “This revamp is the result of focusing on providing information tailored to the situations of customers using the app,” adding, “We will faithfully fulfill our role as a learning mate so that customers can continue investing steadily over the long term with Fount.”
Meanwhile, to commemorate the app revamp, Fount is running the ‘Fount Re-New’ promotion until September 30. During the promotion period, new subscribers will receive the investment strategy book 'Investment Shift,' co-authored by CEO Kim Young-bin, and new investors will be entered into a draw to win investment support coupons worth 50,000 KRW. Investors who steadily make additional investments every month will be entered into a draw every three months to receive investment encouragement funds of up to 100,000 KRW.
