[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Se-ryeong] Gamrim Mountain Prayer Center in Yangsan-si, Gyeongnam, is building a 54th anniversary commemorative history hall.
On the 17th, Gamrim Mountain Prayer Center held a 54th anniversary thanksgiving service in the morning and a groundbreaking worship service for the history hall in the afternoon.
The groundbreaking worship service was attended by about 30 pastors and believers, including Director Lee Ok-ran, Pastor Choi Soo-young of Sarang Neighbor Church, and Pastor Jeong Tae-yoon of Deokchon First Church, and Pastor Kim Bo-seok of Seoul Sionseong Church delivered a sermon titled "The History Hall of God's Name."
The history hall will be designed as a "museum cafe" combining an exhibition hall and a cafe, to be built with two above-ground floors and one basement floor, covering a total area of 220 pyeong.
A budget of 1.5 billion KRW will be invested, with construction starting in the second half of this year and aiming for completion by next summer.
A representative of the prayer center said, "It will be a space where not only believers but also anyone visiting the area can naturally encounter the stories of this place while drinking coffee at the history hall cafe."
