Gangdong Kyung Hee University Hospital Recruiting Participants for Clinical Study on Improving Abdominal Pressure Urinary Incontinence

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] On the 17th, Professor Yoo Eun-hee's research team from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Gangdong Kyung Hee University Hospital announced that they are recruiting participants for a clinical study aimed at the treatment and improvement of stress urinary incontinence.

This clinical study will divide patients with stress urinary incontinence into a test group and a control group to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the pelvic floor muscle surface electrical stimulation device Easy K7 (pelvic floor muscle electrical stimulation device) in improving urinary incontinence.

Eligible participants are women aged 30 to 60 years with a BMI of 30 kg/㎡ or less who have been diagnosed with stress urinary incontinence and meet the severity classification criteria for study participation.

Participants will be provided with the clinical trial device Easy K7 to use for 8 weeks, and before and after using the device, they will undergo examinations and pad tests, pelvic floor muscle electromyography, and questionnaire surveys conducted by medical professionals, with costs covered.

Clinical study participants will receive coverage for related examination costs, a modest transportation allowance, and the pelvic floor muscle electrical stimulation device Easy K7.
