Toss Bank Special Offer 'Hantu Issued Commercial Paper' Popular... Sales Exceed 200 Billion Won


[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] The special issuance note product from Korea Investment & Securities, introduced by Toss Bank, has sold over 200 billion KRW.


Toss Bank announced on the 17th that the Korea Investment & Securities issuance note, introduced through the 'Find the Financial Product That Suits Me' service on the 10th, sold more than 200 billion KRW within just four days of its launch.


Korea Investment & Securities' issuance note was the first investment product introduced when Toss Bank launched the 'Find the Financial Product That Suits Me' service. It is a special edition product available exclusively through Toss Bank, offering up to 4.5% annual interest. The special edition limit of 200 billion KRW was fully exhausted within four days of launch.


According to Korea Investment & Securities, approximately 28.6 billion KRW was sold through Korea Investment & Securities' BanKis accounts on the first day of issuance note launch. On the third day, the 12th, sales exceeded 100 billion KRW. The average daily sales amount was about 50 billion KRW, and about 10,000 customers opened new BanKis accounts through Toss Bank.


The age group with the highest proportion of issuance note subscribers was those in their 40s at 28%, followed by those in their 50s at 27%. The average age of subscribers was 44 years.


Although the special edition has ended, Korea Investment & Securities issuance notes are still being sold. They continue to offer interest rates in the 4% range, such as 4.0% annually for 6 months and 4.2% annually for 1 year. The investment limit remains the same, ranging from 1 million KRW to 50 million KRW per person.
