[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] NH Nonghyup Property & Casualty Insurance announced on the 17th that CEO Choi Moonseop visited Buyeo, Chungnam, which was recently damaged by heavy rain, on the 16th to inspect the damage status and console the farmers.
CEO Choi visited farms in Buyeo, Chungnam, listened to the difficulties faced by farms affected by the heavy rain, and discussed rapid accident investigation and damage support measures with on-site investigators and staff.
CEO Choi said, "It is unfortunate that the damage to farms is severe due to the nationwide heavy rain," adding, "We will strive to promptly investigate the damage to farms enrolled in crop disaster insurance to minimize the difficulties of farmers."
Meanwhile, NH Nonghyup Property & Casualty Insurance announced that it has prepared support measures to ease the economic burden of customers affected by the recent heavy rain by deferring insurance premium payments and interest payments on insurance policy loans for policyholders and their families until October 31.
