[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Tae-min] On Wednesday the 17th, the whole country will be mostly cloudy, with occasional clouds in the central region.

Due to atmospheric instability, from daytime to evening, there will be showers of 5 to 30 mm in the eastern part of Gyeonggi, Yeongseo region of Gangwon, northern Chungbuk, and inland northern Gyeongbuk.

In the southern Gyeongbuk area, rain will occasionally fall from dawn to morning, while the Jeonnam region and Gyeongnam region will experience rain until daytime, and Gangwon Yeongdong will have rain until late afternoon. The northern Gyeongbuk East Coast will also have rain in some places from morning to late afternoon.

By the 17th, precipitation amounts will be 30 to 100 mm (with some places on the southern coast exceeding 150 mm) in the southern coast of Jeonnam, coastal areas of Gyeongnam, and Jeju Island; 10 to 60 mm in the Jeonnam region (excluding the southern coast) and inland Gyeongnam; and 5 to 20 mm in Gangwon Yeongdong, southern Gyeongbuk, and northern Gyeongbuk East Coast.

The concentration and amount of precipitation may vary depending on the inflow of hot and humid air and the southward movement of cold air from the northwest to the south.

The morning low temperature is forecast to be 20 to 24 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature 25 to 31 degrees Celsius. Fine dust levels will be 'Good' to 'Moderate' across all regions.

Until morning, dense fog with visibility below 200 meters is expected in the eastern Gyeonggi, central and southern inland Gangwon, northern inland Chungnam, and central and northern Chungbuk, while other inland areas may have fog with visibility less than 1 km.

In the Gangwon mountain area, due to the influence of easterly winds bringing in low clouds, dense fog with visibility below 200 meters is expected in some places.

Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea nearshore, 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea nearshore, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the South Sea nearshore.

Wave heights in the offshore seas (about 200 km from the coastline) are predicted to be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East and West Seas, and 1.0 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea.
