[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] NH Investment & Securities announced on the 16th that it has opened the Gangnam Financial Center, a future-oriented branch tailored to customer needs.
The Gangnam Financial Center was established as a flagship model of a future-oriented center that encompasses diverse customer needs, targeting not only existing high-net-worth individuals (HNW) but also office workers near Gangnam Station who have a high interest in investment, as well as the growing number of non-face-to-face customers.
NH Investment & Securities' Gangnam Financial Center is a large-scale branch with an exclusive area of 924m2 (approximately 280 pyeong), located on the 2nd floor of Casequare Gangnam 2 Building, 374 Gangnam-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, at the Gangnam Station intersection. It was formed by integrating the Gangnam-daero WM Center and the Gyodae Station WM Center. The Gangnam Financial Center is characterized by maximizing convenience and accessibility for office worker customers who find it difficult to visit during daytime hours.
As the first in the industry, it introduced the '9 to 7 service,' extending consultation hours until 7 p.m. on weekdays to enhance accessibility, and implemented the 'Naver reservation system' allowing customers to receive consultations without waiting.
When making a reservation, customers can select the consultation topics they want, such as △Investment Introduction △Tax-advantaged Products △Stocks △Investment Products, enabling professional asset management consultations.
In the fourth quarter, the introduction of STM (Smart Teller Machine) is planned, which will allow financial transactions to be processed, further enhancing customer convenience. Through the STM introduction, account-related tasks and other branch services can also be conducted. This service is also the first of its kind in the securities industry. Additionally, the Gangnam Financial Center provides a dedicated space for non-face-to-face customers by separating customized spaces for each customer.
Jung Young-chae, CEO of NH Investment & Securities, stated, "Through the opening of the Gangnam Financial Center, we will establish our future-oriented center model and strive to enhance NH Investment & Securities' unique competitiveness," adding, "Once the flagship services of the Gangnam Financial Center are established, we will implement nationwide expansion."
Meanwhile, NH Investment & Securities is conducting various events until the end of September to celebrate the opening of the Gangnam Financial Center. During the event period, all customers who open a new account for the first time will receive 5,000 NH Members points. Additionally, among new customers, those who consult with an advisor and subscribe to financial products (funds/ELS (Equity-Linked Securities)/bonds/WRAP/overseas stocks) worth 30 million KRW or more will be offered a special RP (Repurchase Agreement) at 5% (annual, pre-tax, 91-day term) up to a limit of 100 million KRW on a first-come, first-served basis. The special RP has a total recruitment amount of 20 billion KRW and will close once the limit is reached. The event is limited to accounts opened at the Gangnam Financial Center.
