Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District (left), visited an apartment in Dohwa-dong at 8 p.m. on the 15th to inspect the ground subsidence and related safety measures that occurred on the 12th, and instructed to take action to prevent secondary damage caused by heavy rain.

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, began re-inspecting key sites on the afternoon of the 15th as rainfall was expected in the central region, aiming to minimize resident damage caused by flooding.

At around 8 p.m. that day, Mayor Park visited an apartment in Dohwa-dong. This site had experienced ground subsidence on the 12th and safety measures had been completed. Mayor Park visited the site to check the restoration status and prevent secondary damage caused by the rainfall.

He then continued urgent on-site visits to flood prevention facilities, including a rainwater drain dredging site near an apartment in Gongdeok-dong.
