Achieved an Actual Execution Rate of 80% by Raising the Target by 13%

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The Busan Agricultural Technology Center was selected as an excellent institution in this year's national subsidy fund actual execution evaluation conducted by the Rural Development Administration.
The Rural Development Administration evaluates the actual execution rate performance of national subsidy funds granted to each institution to supply funds early to the private market and revitalize investment and consumption in the shrinking agricultural sector, selecting excellent institutions for actual execution of national subsidy funds every year.
The Busan Agricultural Technology Center held frequent inspection meetings and checked the progress of underperforming projects to increase the actual execution rate, achieving 80%, which is 13 percentage points higher than the targeted execution rate of 67%.
In particular, by focusing on the execution of field-centered projects for improving agricultural conditions and agricultural new technology dissemination projects, the center raised the actual execution rate and contributed to the recovery of the local agricultural economy, which had been weakened by COVID-19 and international circumstances.
Kim Jeong-guk, director of the Agricultural Technology Center, said, “The selection as an excellent institution for actual execution of national subsidy funds is a result achieved through the joint efforts and considerations of all employees despite difficult economic conditions such as COVID-19,” and added, “We will do our best for economic revitalization and efficient financial management and execution.”
Following the selection as an excellent institution, the Busan Agricultural Technology Center received the Rural Development Administration Director's Award and a prize of 2 million won.
