The Gyeongnam Changwon Municipal Arts Troupe held a concert commemorating the 77th anniversary of Liberation Day.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Se-ryeong] The Gyeongnam Changwon City Art Troupe's 77th Liberation Day Commemorative Concert was held on the 12th at the Changwon Seongsan Art Hall Grand Theater.
The concert began with a congratulatory performance by the City Dance Troupe, followed by the City Symphony Orchestra's performances of "Fanfare for Ordinary People" and "Arirang Fantasy," and the City Boys and Girls Choir's singing of the "Changwon Children's Song Suite."
Next, the stage was filled with the voices of soprano Hong Hye-ran and tenor Kim Kyung-ho, along with the lively rhythms of the Samulnori team.
After the joint performance of the City Symphony Orchestra and the City Choir, the event concluded with the attendees singing the Liberation Day song together.
Hong Nam-pyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, said, "Despite the bad weather, many citizens attended, and we could feel the passionate enthusiasm," adding, "It was a meaningful and moving stage filled with the citizens' responses and applause sharing the joy of liberation."
