Ryan Rocket Partners with Tig Company to Jointly Develop 'K-Culture Fan Club Platform'

[Asia Economy Reporter Kwak Min-jae] AI startup Lion Rocket announced on the 13th that it has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Tig Company to jointly develop a ‘K-Culture Fan Club Platform’.

Tig Company is the exclusive licensee of the Korean wave community Korea Me2Day (me2day) on China's Weibo. Korea Me2Day supplies original content and goods of K-POP artists. It has about 26 million followers and is composed of the 10s and 20s generations who prefer K-POP, drawing attention to this agreement.

Through this business agreement, both companies plan to open a new chapter of K-POP culture in China by integrating artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Combining Lion Rocket’s AI technology and Korea Me2Day’s community infrastructure, they will jointly develop a ‘K-Culture Fan Club Platform’ that can supply K-POP content and goods, targeting the Chinese market with special Hallyu content.

Lion Rocket provides deep learning text-to-speech synthesis technology (TTS) and will launch a 1:1 AI video message service called ‘Call Me’. ‘Call Me’ is a personalized 1:1 solution that offers experiences such as having a favorite artist call the fan’s name.

In the future, they plan to advance AI technology to enable interactive communication with artists. They will also hold online fan meetings and concerts through live streaming.

Hyun In-ho, CEO of Tig Company, said, “Lion Rocket’s AI technology will serve as a medium that brings stars and fans closer together,” adding, “It will act as a bridge for not only existing stars but also promising K-POP rookie artists to enter the Chinese market.”

Jung Seung-hwan, CEO of Lion Rocket, said, “Under the company slogan ‘Making everyday life more enjoyable with AI,’ we expect to offer K-POP fans worldwide a unique fandom culture they have never experienced before.”
