K-water Ulsan Branch Delivers Watermelons to Dudong-myeon, Ulju-gun for Malbok

K-water Ulsan Branch delivered watermelons to Dudong-myeon, Ulju-gun to celebrate Malbok.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] On the 12th, K-water Ulsan Branch delivered 90 watermelons to 24 senior centers in Dudong-myeon in celebration of Malbok.

The watermelons delivered that day were distributed to each of the 24 senior centers through Dudong-myeon staff and the Village Chiefs' Council.

Kim Young-hee, manager of K-water Ulsan Branch, said, "The elderly are very tired and struggling during the hot summer," adding, "We hope the seniors will enjoy the cool watermelons and gain strength on this Malbok."

Moon Sung-jun, chairman of the Dudong-myeon Village Chiefs' Council, said, "We express our gratitude on behalf of the residents to K-water Ulsan Branch for their great help to Dudong-myeon not only on Chobok but also on Malbok," and added, "We hope the residents of Dudong-myeon have a good summer with the refreshing watermelons."

K-water Ulsan Branch also supported low-income families in Dudong-myeon with blankets and rice last winter, and donated watermelons to 24 local senior centers during this year's Chobok, continuing to share with the local community.
