Park Jae-hyun, Chief of the Suseo Police Station in Seoul, was appointed as the Personnel Officer of the National Police Agency. Lee Dong-hwan, Head of the Police Science Department at the Korean National Police University, who participated in the National Superintendents' Meeting opposing the establishment of the Police Bureau under the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, was placed on standby in the Police University Operations Support Division before retirement.

Kang Il-gu, Head of the Anti-Corruption and Public Crime Investigation Unit at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, who had been investigating allegations of sexual bribery involving Lee Jun-seok, leader of the People Power Party, moved to become Chief of the Seongdong Police Station in Seoul. Lee Choong-seop, Chief of the Dongan Police Station in Anyang, was appointed as the new Head of the Anti-Corruption and Public Crime Investigation Unit at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency. Jeong Myung-jin, Head of the Anti-Corruption and Economic Crime Investigation Unit at the Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency, who is in charge of investigations related to Lee Jae-myung, a member of the Democratic Party, retained his position.
