Musicow Holds 'Cultural Talk Salon Date' with Teen Top's Niel

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Music tech company Musicow announced on the 11th that it is recruiting participants for the cultural talk event ‘Salon Date’ with Niel, the main vocalist of the group Teen Top.

Salon Date is a special cultural event designed for artists and fans to communicate. It is held at Musicow’s own complex cultural space ‘Salon de Musicow’ near Sangsu Station, exclusively for Musicow members.

Invited as a guest, Niel debuted with the group Teen Top in July 2010. In February 2015, he released his first solo mini-album ‘oNIELy,’ with the title track ‘Bad Girl’ achieving first place on music shows. Since then, he has actively continued his solo activities by releasing numerous songs.

Niel is also recognized as a versatile entertainer who excels in acting, singing, dancing, and variety shows. Before debuting as a singer, he worked as a child actor and played leading roles in musicals such as ‘Altar Boys,’ ‘King Arthur,’ and ‘The Time of Dogs and Cats,’ showcasing his talents as a musical actor.

The group Teen Top, to which Niel belongs, has released many hit songs including ‘Easy,’ ‘Her Long Straight Hair,’ ‘No Joke,’ ‘Don’t Spray Perfume,’ and ‘To You.’ Among these, some popular songs like ‘Easy,’ ‘Her Long Straight Hair,’ and ‘No Joke’ are currently shared with fans through Musicow.

Through this talk concert, Niel plans to share honest life stories such as how he has come this far since his debut and what his childhood dreams were. He will also discuss various topics with fans, including how he overcame slumps and what he thinks the meaning of his life songs and favorite songs are. Additionally, a special time will be prepared where Niel will read healing sentences he personally prepared as a token of gratitude to the fans participating in the talk concert.

Applications are open until the 17th via the Musicow app and official website. About 10 participants will be selected and announced on the 19th. The event will start at 7:30 PM on the 24th.

Musicow’s Salon Date has been newly resumed under the name ‘Noella’s Music Therapy’ with fusion artist Noella. On the 10th, the first session, ‘Noella’s Music Therapy ? Lyricist Jo Donghee Edition,’ was successfully completed with enthusiastic responses from the audience.
