[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Gwangju Bank recently announced on the 11th that it has expanded and relocated its Shinsegae Branch to the first floor next to the main building of Youngpoong Bookstore within Gwangju Metropolitan City's U-Square.
The Gwangju Bank Shinsegae Branch is located in an area where large shopping malls and consumer facilities such as Gwangju U-Square, Shinsegae Department Store, CGV, and E-Mart are concentrated, resulting in a high volume of foot traffic and many visiting customers.
By relocating to a much larger space close to the previous Shinsegae Branch location, it is expected that customer accessibility, convenience, and satisfaction will greatly improve. Additionally, a new PB (Private Banking) room will be established to focus on consultations with VIP customers.
Song Jong-wook, President of Gwangju Bank, stated, “We will continue to repay the love we have received from local residents by providing high-quality financial services, practicing customer-centered and community-based management, and becoming a representative bank of Gwangju and Jeonnam that coexists and grows together with the region.”
Meanwhile, Gwangju Bank is gradually relocating branches that are somewhat inconveniently located in terms of customer accessibility to provide convenient financial services to local residents and to promote strategies for expanding and advancing its business capabilities, thereby enhancing customer accessibility and convenience.
Currently, Gwangju Bank has 140 branches, with 118 in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions and 22 branches in the metropolitan area.
