[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Director Lee Jung-jae's debut film 'Hunt' was watched by 210,000 people on its opening day.


According to the Korea Film Council's integrated box office data on the 11th, 'Hunt' (directed by Lee Jung-jae), which was released on the 10th, attracted 210,826 viewers and started at number one at the box office. Its revenue share was 46.5%.


'Hunt' is a spy action drama unfolding as National Intelligence Service agents Park Pyungho and Kim Jungdo, who suspect each other to root out a spy hidden within the organization, face a huge incident called 'South Korea's first assassination operation.' Actor Lee Jung-jae directed and starred in the film, and his 23-year-old friend, actor Jung Woo-sung, co-starred, drawing attention.


In second place was the film 'Hansan: Rising Dragon' (directed by Kim Han-min), depicting Admiral Yi Sun-sin's Battle of Hansan, which attracted 125,414 viewers. Released on the 27th of last month, the film has continued its success with a cumulative audience of 5,024,121.


Third place went to the aviation disaster film 'Emergency Declaration,' fourth to 'DC League of Super-Pets,' and fifth to 'Top Gun: Maverick,' respectively.
