[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Ediya Coffee announced on the 11th that it has signed a business agreement with Hana Card to launch financial linkage services and expand customer payment convenience.
The signing ceremony held the previous day at the Ediya Coffee headquarters building in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul was attended by Moon Chang-gi, chairman of Ediya Coffee, and Kwon Gil-ju, CEO of Hana Card.
Through this agreement, the two companies introduced Hana One Q Pay at Ediya Coffee stores nationwide, enabling all customers, including iPhone users, to easily make mobile payments without a physical card via Hana One Q Pay. To commemorate the launch of Hana One Q Pay, an event will be held from the 18th to the 31st, where customers who pay 3,000 won or more using Hana One Q Pay QR will earn 1,000 Hana Money points.
In the second half of this year, the two companies plan to jointly launch a PLCC (Private Label Credit Card), offering optimized benefits for Ediya Members as well as additional lifestyle services aligned with recent trends.
Chairman Moon said, “Through the business agreement with Hana Card, we will provide upgraded benefits and payment convenience to Ediya Coffee customers, and we will focus all our capabilities on making the PLCC optimized for Ediya Coffee’s brand identity a representative brand platform for both companies.” He added, “We will continue to build a long-term collaborative relationship with Hana Card to continuously increase customer value and create a business model that can grow together with our customers.”
