Muan-gun O Seung-woo Art Museum 'Lee Yeon-sook & Lee Pi Invitational Exhibition' Opens

Exhibition on the Theme of 'Women and Mythology - A Long Story About the Foundation'

[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Jeonnam Muan-gun recently announced that it held the opening ceremony of the third invitational exhibition of 2022, "Women and Myth - A Long Story About the Ground," at the Muan-gun Oh Seung-woo Art Museum.

The event was attended by artists Lee Yeon-sook and Lee Pi, as well as Kim San, the county governor, Kim Kyung-hyun, chairman of the county council, Park Sam-hyun, chief of Muan Police Station, Kim Ran, director of Muan Office of Education, Professor Cho Eun-jung of Mokpo National University, art critics, related personnel, and residents to celebrate the exhibition.

A representative of the Oh Seung-woo Art Museum said, "The works depicting grandmothers and mothers with a strong appearance beneath warmth and coziness, as well as memories of childhood, will resonate with everyone and give strength."

County Governor Kim San, who attended the opening ceremony, said, "This invitational exhibition is a very meaningful event where we can see the works of two authoritative artists on the theme of women," adding, "I would like to encourage the artists who are constantly devoted to the path of creation despite difficult circumstances."
